It’s important for spiritual direction to be a safe space to explore your journey, so it’s important for me as a spiritual director to be very clear about my stance on LGBTQ+ identities and relationships so that you can have confidence in reaching out with even the possibility of working with me. It is my sincere conviction that LGBTQ+ people are created in the Image of God, as they are, and that there is nothing “broken” about them. God can and does bless same-sex relationships and transgender identities, and so I follow God’s lead and happily bless them as well.
